The project Campania: Recipes & Wanderings Across Italy’s Polychromatic Coast is part of the culinary collection promoted by Apartamento and Belmond. This volume explores the Amalfi Coast through 21 traditional recipes and visual stories that blend cuisine and territory, highlighting some of the region’s most iconic dishes.
The book is co-edited by Apartamento Publishing and Belmond, and features the personal vision of photographer Lea Colombo, known for her vibrant way of capturing color and the essence of landscapes. Her images travel through villages, markets, and kitchens, offering an immersive view of this part of Italy. The texts complement the visual narrative with contributions from various writers who contextualize each dish within the local culture.
Regarding the production by Nexe Impressions, the project stands out for its technical commitment to multichromatic printing, which simulates RGB profiles by expanding the color spectrum to achieve more vivid images. Symbol Tatami paper by Fedrigoni Paper is used for the cover, and Arctic Volume White by Arctic Paper is used for the interior. Printing is done with conventional LED UV offset and complemented with acrylic varnish on the cover and a metallic PANTONE on the endpapers. The book is bound in hardcover with Dutch binding and features a rounded spine with fabric and headbands. It is finished with a KURZ Colorit stamping on the cover and a yellow silkscreen print on the spine.
