The artist Robert Combas was faced with the need to find new companions, accomplices and alter egos during the confinement that isolated us from any social contact.
In the exhibition “Labyrinthe de têtes” at the Laurent Strouk Gallery, the French painter shows, through the portrait, the functioning of the human mind in the hard moments of isolation. Thus, the faces of Combas’s work express anguish, questioning, absence, dream, desire, or love, among others.
The book that collects all the faces has been printed using multicolor (RGB simulation) in order to achieve the same colors of the unique work of Robert Combas which is characterized by the use of bright colors.
