The “Le Guide” collection is designed to bring the emblematic spaces of the Muséum national d’Histoire Naturelle closer to the public. Each volume is dedicated to a space and serves as a memento of the visit experience. We present three titles from the collection:
Jardin botanique Val Rahmeh‑Menton invites readers to explore this Mediterranean oasis founded in 1875, which today hosts around 1,700 species and has become a center for botanical conservation and scientific research. The guide to the Parc Zoologique de Paris accompanies visitors through the zoo’s five biozones and over 200 animal species. Finally, Galerie de paléontologie et d’anatomie comparée opens the doors to a site founded in 1898, home to a series of skeletons and fossils that recount four hundred million years of evolution, all in an emblematic space of Parisian art nouveau.
The publications, edited in French and English, feature design and graphic production by the We-We studio, photomechanical work by Les Caméléons Paris, and printing — using FSC-certified materials — managed by Nexe Impressions. Each book consists of 96 pages and a cover with glossy PP lamination on the front and matte acrylic varnish on the back. The books are perfect bound with flaps and feature a high blind emboss on the cover.
