The Musée de l’Homme, part of the Muséum national d’Histoire Naturelle, presents the exhibition “Migrations, une odyssée humaine”, a reflection on human mobility throughout history. The exhibition explores the causes and consequences of migrations, from prehistory to the present day, addressing them from both scientific and social perspectives. Through a combination of anthropology, archaeology, demography, and other disciplines, it dismantles prejudices and highlights the richness brought by human movement.
The exhibition catalog complements this journey by gathering testimonies from around the world in twenty chapters. Curated by Sylvie Mazzella and Christine Verna, this work is part of the éditions grand public del Muséum national d’Histoire Naturelle and includes portraits illustrated by the artist Aline Zalko.
For the printing of the catalog, the technical office of Nexe Impressions studied the project to offer the optimal solution. Since the Tintoretto Ceylon Cumino paper from Fedrigoni Paper used for the cover has color and texture, a layer of white ink is applied before the four-color process printing. Then, the cover and spine are screen-printed with yellow ink. The book is finished with an Otabind binding for a more comfortable reading experience.
