The House of Xavier Corber\u00f3<\/h2>\n

Xavier Corber\u00f3<\/strong>‘s sculptures rough-hewn stone, marble, and bronze in an abstract style made him one of the most renowned Spanish artists of the 20th century.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

His works can be seen all over the world. The MoMA in New York, the Stedlijk Museum in Amsterdam and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London are some of the museums that host his creations, but probably his most renowned work of art is located on the outside of the city of Barcelona. An impossible construction made up of different buildings, with labyrinthine rooms and arches located at different levels that Corber\u00f3 turned into his residence.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The House of Xavier Corber\u00f3<\/a>, edited by his daughter Ana and published by Apartamento Publishing<\/strong>, shows from the inside the architectural beauty of the artist through the photography of Daniel Riera<\/strong>. The book also includes a series of texts by friends of the artist such as Ricardo Bofill and Josep Acebillo, as well as an interview with the filmmaker Albert Moya.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The publication is bound in a hard cover lined with Imitlin cloth<\/strong> by Fedrigoni Papers and printed in silver ink. On the cover, the book has an embossing with black printing<\/strong> on the inside and black Kurz hot foil both on the cover and on the spine and back cover<\/strong>. Sirio Color paper has been used for the endpapers and the inside of the book is printed in four-colour process and varnish<\/strong> on Arena Ivory Smooth paper.<\/p>\n
