La F\u00e1brica<\/strong><\/a>, one of the most iconic creations of the renowned Catalan architect Ricardo Bofill<\/strong>, is a former cement factory on the outskirts of Barcelona that became the centre of his life and architectural practice from 1973.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Bofill transformed the space into a world of its own, recovering the concrete forms hidden under layers of dust and smoke. The fruit is a perfect balance between monumental scale and a delicate human sensibility.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This new edition of the original 2018 book features exclusive images from the RBTA archive and photographs captured by Nacho Alegre<\/strong> over a decade of visits to La F\u00e1brica. All this photographic material, accompanied by an introduction by Pablo Bofill<\/strong> and an interview with the architect by Arquitectura-G<\/strong> and Guillermo L\u00f3pez<\/strong>, make the book a portrait of Ricardo Bofill’s most precious work and his legacy.<\/p>\n

The publication, bound in a sewn hardcover and lined with Imitlin Fiandra Bordeaux paper by Fedrigoni Papers<\/strong>, includes a stamping on the cover, the spine and back cover. An embossing has also been worked into which the adhesive foil has been inserted.
