The French photographer Gr\u00e9goire Eloy<\/strong> brings together in Brume<\/em><\/strong> a selection of images taken during various trips to the mountainous regions of Georgia between 2018 and 2023. The project is part of the Tbilisi Photo Festival<\/strong> residency program and combines classic documentary photography with experimental work. Eloy, true to his method of direct experience of the territory, traveled on foot, horseback, and skis through areas such as Tusheti and Khevi, aiming to portray their isolation, landscapes, and the daily life of their inhabitants.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

With a career focused on the exploration of Soviet heritage and, more recently, on topics related to science and the environment, Eloy has established a unique voice in the field of contemporary photography. Awarded the Ni\u00e9pce Prize<\/strong> in 2021, he is a member of the French collective Tendance Floue<\/strong>. As part of the Brume<\/em> project, he has also developed a series of handmade analog prints called “Gregograms” or “g\u00e9orgigrammes,” now part of the permanent collection of the Mus\u00e9e Nic\u00e9phore Ni\u00e9pce<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
