The book 1000 Mercis is based on the idea of collecting a thousand ways to say “thank you,” through notes, posters, and clippings gathered by the photographer Benoît Luisière. Each page expresses an anonymous yet shared gratitude, making the book a showcase of the variety and everyday nature of this universal gesture.
The publication has been edited by Innocences Publishing and printed using digital rotary printing at the workshop of Rodona Indústria Gráfica. The book consists of 1,008 pages of low-weight bible paper and a graphic cardstock cover, and is bound in stitched rustic, ensuring flexibility and durability. The production is limited to a small edition of 154 copies.
The digital rotary printing technology allows precise production of a high-volume edition in a small print run, maintaining cost and deadline control without compromising superior editorial quality.
