Paris City Stories is a guide published by BYREDO that offers an intimate and selective approach to the city of Paris. Far from the conventional tourist format, the publication arises from inviting artists and other creative voices connected to the city to share their must-see places—spaces that tell the story of Paris through personal experience.
The guide presents this perspective through a combination of artist interviews and photographs by Marc Shelly, capturing corners, facades, and gastronomy with a restrained and approachable visual language. The edition is designed as a portable guide, intended to accompany the reader both during visits and in a slower, more reflective exploration of the city.
Regarding production, the book features a hardcover bound in Brillianta fabric from Winter Company, with a flat spine and black headbands. The cover includes stamping in black and white and a blind emboss where a cromo is placed on Arena White Rough paper from Fedrigoni Paper. The 80 interior pages are printed in four-color process on Arena Natural Bulk from Fedrigoni, while the endpapers use Malmero Color from myCordenons.
