Apartamento Cookbook #10: Aphrodisiacs is the latest installment of the editorial collection launched by Apartamento Publishing, linked to the magazine Apartamento. With this issue, the series celebrates its tenth anniversary, consolidating a proposal that approaches cooking from a cultural and narrative perspective. In this edition, the central theme revolves around aphrodisiacs, understood not only as ingredients but as experiences connected to desire, memory, and everyday life.
Over the years, Apartamento Cookbook has been defined by an open and personal approach, away from conventional cookbooks. This volume continues that approach and features illustrations by Sainte Maria, which provide a unique visual reading and reinforce the experimental nature of the project. The result is a publication that combines culinary content and visual expression in a compact format.
At Nexe Impressions, we managed the book’s production, with 40 interior pages printed on Munken Polar Cream 150 g and endpapers on Munken Polar Rough 150 g, from Munken Paper. The cover is wrapped in Imitlin Tela Neve 125 g from Fedrigoni Paper and dressed with a dust jacket with flaps in glossy coated paper 135 g. Printing was done in black ink for the interior, and with PANTONE ink for the endpapers and dust jacket. The binding is hardcover on 2.5 mm board with a flat spine, and both the cover and dust jacket feature gold stamping. The volume is FSC certified, ensuring responsible sourcing of materials.
