Fabienne Verdier

Energy Lines

Born in Paris in 1962, Fabienne Verdier is an abstract and contemporary painter who explores the dynamism of natural forces through her knowledge of techniques and traditions from both Eastern and Western art.

With her new exhibition Energy Lines, showcased at Christie’s Dubai and Custot Gallery Dubai, Verdier presents fifteen works, some of them monumental in size, depicting waves of rainbow colours with expressive lines reminiscent of the forms found in nature.

“I have painted these series commemorating the lines that mountains, clouds, dunes, the sea, and plains draw in the distance. These lines, which appear static, are in constant motion.” – Fabienne Verdier.

The graphic project has been carried out under the direction in production and printing work of Nexe Impressions. In coordination, the team of Les Caméléons Artisans de l’Image has executed an excellent photomechanical process and has facilitated the simulation of RGB profiles, or the use of multicolor technology, achieving a satisfactory result with great depth and extraordinary fidelity to the original works.
