The Secret Life of Salvador Dalí
At the age of only 37, Salvador Dalí wrote his autobiography in which he encapsulates his memories and experiences and carries out a self-analysis. At the same time, the book contains numerous illustrations by the artist, mostly in Indian ink on paper.
The Secret Life of Salvador Dalí is a magnificent tool for deciphering a large part of the Dalinian code and a way of getting closer to the eccentric painter from l’Empordà. Time magazine describes the book as “a jungle of fantasy, pretentiousness, visceral laughter, narcissistic and sadistic confessions”.
Nexe Impressions was delighted to accompany Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí throughout the graphic production process of this volume.
