Living Rooms Collection – Dominique Nabokov

The Living Rooms collection, which includes the cities of New York, Paris and Berlin, is the first instalment of Dominique Nabokov’s interior photography works, republished by Apartamento Publishing more than two decades after its publication. The collection offers a frank and intimate study of the interior spaces of some of the most renowned cultural figures in these cities such as Susan Sontag, Yves Saint Laurent, Gérard Depardieu and Louise Bourgeois.

 

Dominique Nabokov is a photographer who divides her time between the United States and France. After working as an assistant photographer for Patrick Demarchelier, in 1980 he began his solo adventure and focused on portrait photography and photojournalism. Her work has appeared in various publications such as New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Le Monde and Le Nouvel Observateur.

 

The books, printed with UV LED technology, stand out for a hardcover covers lined with Fedrigoni Papers Imitlin paper of different colors along with a black hot foil and debossing with the insertion of a printed sticker.
