The Slowdown. At a Distance: 100 visionaries at home in a pandemic
The Slowdown is a media company that emerged in New York as the pandemic began. Its goal is to make sense of a world addicted to speed, advocating a more thoughtful and considered view of the moment.
As the weeks passed, a deceleration took place that neither of the two founders, Spencer Bailey and Andrew Zuckerman, could ever have imagined. Moved by curiosity to know what some minds were thinking, they decided to start a remote podcast with conversations focused on various concerns.
Some time later those conversations are organized into a book published by Apartamento Publishing. ‘The Slowdown – At a Distance – 100 visionaries at home in a pandemic’ collects a selection of the wisdom shared by the podcast guests, while exploring the changes that could come in the future.
