Art et Préhistorie

Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle

Art et Préhistorie” is the new exhibition at the “Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle” in Paris, which invites you to discover many of the objects sculpted, engraved or painted by our homo sapiens ancestors during the prehistoric era. This early art is an incipient example of the ability and need to communicate that we humans have always had since ancient times.

We have had the pleasure of advising the MNHN publishing team throughout the production process of this magnificent book, which accompanies an exceptional exhibition. From the careful selection of papers, finishes, types of printing and binding by our technical office Nexe Impresiones, to the photographic retouching, photomechanics and colourimetric proofs by our group company, Les Caméléons in Paris, and the printing in the graphic workshops of our industrial partner, Agpograf in Poblenou, Barcelona. A great team effort!

Art et préhistorie” also tells us, as we said before, about art in prehistory and how it was able to generate as many emotions in our ancestors, as questions, still to be deciphered today, in the scientific field.
